I'm an expert

I’m Maria Hernàndez. I’m 14 years old. I’m studying in Maristes Montserrat. I’m doing 3^rd of ESO. And I’m going to tell you about my hobby, its dance.

When I was young, I practice aerobic and classic dance. When I was 4 years old, I started classic while I was 12 years old. And when I was 6 years old, I started aerobic in my school, while I was 12 years old.

I liked very much, because I love dance.

Now I don’t de dance, because I have a lot of work, but I miss it.

1. Victor’s hobbies:

I’m Victor Vinos .I’ m 14. I’m studying in Maristes Montserrat. I’m doing 3^rd of ESO. And I’m going to tell you about my hobby, it is football. I started playing football at 6 in Maristes Montserrat of Lleida. Later, “Athletic Segre” took from Maristes, I practice football because I liked and I’m a good player. I go to train to “Athletic Segre” installation, 3 days: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday .I play the matches on Sunday

2. Edu’s hobbies:

I’m Eduard Rodríguez. I’m 14. I’m studying in Maristes Montserrat of Lleida. I’m doing 3^rd of ESO. I’m going to write about my hobby. It is hockey. I started playing hockey in Alpicat, but when I was 12 I went to another team: “Lleida Llista Blava”. I changed of club because I spent a lot of time in the car and I can’t do my homework. I started playing hockey because friends played it. I do this sport because I like it and I’m a good player. I train in “Onze de Setembre” or in “la Bordeta”. I train 3 or 4 days of week: Monday Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Normally, I play matches on Saturday afternoon. I have played hockey since I was 6.

My party

In this text we are writing a card for a special friend and the other friends of my school as well as, the ones of my team of football.

In it,  we write this e-mail explaining to all our friends that we do a party and it’s our birthday.

We’ll do our party in our village, “Ull de Molins”, and the house is in the street of “Sant Jordi”, that it has a shop of cakes and a big tree.

The party is going to be on the  27^th of December, Saturday’s night, and you can bring different objects and materials to do the party (swimming costumes, boots of football and the most important one present for me, hahaha).

The party starts at nine o’clock at the night of Saturday and it finishes at five o’ clock a.m, because we are going to a pub.   

Hobbies

Albert is good at tennis because he plays tennis since 2002 and is his favorite sport too.

He is also  good at playing basketball, he is in CB.Pardinyes and he likes playing football but he’s very bad at this.

One of the hobbies of Albert is cycling with his parents or friends in Camps Elisis because he thinks that is the most beautiful place in Lleida. He is always gossiping, and he wants to know all the interesting things of his friends or classmates.

Adriana loves practising sports such as basketball, tennis, volleyball…

She is a fan of F.C.Barcelona and she likes Fernando Llorente but he’s from Athletic de Bilbao, she also likes going shopping with her friends and sometimes she dances hip-hop but for 1 year she left dancing because she doesn’t have enough time.

Both love playing basketball and sometimes they go to play together in a basketball pitch that is next to UDL, they go to Maristes Montserrat school and both agree that is the best school of Lleida.

Football

When I was small I began to practice football. First this sport was a thing to move my body. When I started this I played basketball too but I love football

Now I practice football and basketball but if I must choose, I prefer football.

I train in Atlètic Segre Lleida every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and there we do physical exercises and we practice for the weekend match.

I like the weekend because there is match. I play in the center of the defense.

In the defense the game begins, if the rival presses me is very difficult to play the ball.

Last weekend we played with FCB and all the match we are defending and I didn't like this, I wanted to attack a lot.

I love this sport and I want to practice a lot of this time.

LLEIDA

Lleida is a city of Catalonia .It has a history very interesting .

In Lleida we can see the Seu vella, it is on a hill that you can see all the city, and you can learn about of the history of Lleida, and it’s the place that tourist visit first.

Also Lleida, has got a river, Segre, the Major Street, the place that there are a lot of shops, there are neighborhoods for example, Bordeta, Cappont, Magraners, Mariola., Pardinyes… The hill of Gardeny, and a lot of places that you can visit. There are a lot of schools: Maristes, Claver, Mater, Montsuar, etc.

I have a lot of hobbies. But I prefer one of them. My favorite hobby is riding a bicycle. I do a lot of acrobatics with bicycle: bunny hop ( salt del conill ), footjump 180…

And a other hobby is basketball, I play in Maristes team. I also play  Play Station 3, we do a big  games of the game “Call of dutty”. This game consists on killing others players.

At the weekend I go out with my friends

Hobbies

My best hobby is the basketball, I play basketball with Lleida team, my team is the best  and I play in the category of cadet of first year.

I win all the match, my team is the best of my category, after Barça, DKV, and other  teams.

The members of my team are Marc Martí, Pepe Reñe, Victor Terrats, Pau Areté, Enric  Estorach, Joan Cruz, David Cuèllar,  Carlos Cazador, and more.

All the members of my team are friends.

The basketball is very important for me because I enjoy.

My best hobby is basketball, I play with my friends at school. The school is Maristes Montserrat in Lleida.

On Sundays and on Saturdays I play a match with my friends, and with the opponent team.

The number that I bring in my T-shirt is the number seven, because it is the birthday of my aunt.

And my second hobby is listening to music. I like a lot of groups. My favourite singers are Juan Maga, Cali y Dandee, Beyoncé, Lady Gaga.

MY HOBBIES

My hobbies are to play football and ride BMX, I like both sports because the ones who play this sports and are profesional does things that the other peolpe can't do, soo i want to do that things. I've practice this sports when i was four years and I start practicing BMX near one year ago.
I like do this sports in Almacelles, Sucs or lleida with my friends but i can't do it a lot.

I play football in Almacelles football team, the last year we won the league.

THE ANIMALS

The animals are a very good company. You can play with him because there are very affectionate. In the world are very much species. The more abundant are the dog,the cats, the rabbits, the hamsters...These are domestic animals but also you can find wild animals like the tiger, the lion, the panther, the elephant, the giraffe...We can classify them int carnivours or vegetables. The carnivours animals eat meat and there attack other animals and the vegetables eat grass, trees...They can live in the jungle, in the desert, in cityes, in the pole and domestic animals in the houses.

MY HOBBIES

My favorite sport is skiing. I always go to the mountain in winter when there is a lot of snow. I started skiing when I was 3 or 4 years, my parents and a ski instructor taught me. Now, I want to learn how to jump or do some tricks. I really like to practice this sport and when I go to the mountains I ski all the day. Another sport that I have played a lot of years is tennis. I played this sport in Club Natació Lleida. I played it 3 times a week, Monday, Thursday and Friday, three hours every day, but now I don't play it because I don't like the people that are now in the club. Now I'm doing canoeing.

My hobbies

I have two hobbies; one of them is my favorite. The hobby is riding my bike. In the moments where the weather is great, I ride the bike in the park of the Mitjana in Pardinyes at the weekends. My another hobby is playing the computer games. I play different games in my computer such as strategy, action… I’m very happy with my hobbies.

My favourite hobby is designing some clothes.
I really love think about prefect t-shirts an then I’m doing them.
One month ago I made a t-shirt. I’m wearing this t-shirt now. Well, I thin it’s a cool design. It’s about a song from McFLY.
Now, I’m trying to design a hood from my sister. Next month is her birthday, and I’m looking for an awesome design.

Another hobby I have is writing a novel. It’s a fan fic. A lot of people from Spain, Argentina, England and Mexico read my novel.

THE GREEN LADY

Once upon a time, there was a senior citizen that wore green clothes. She went to the cemetery to bring flowers for her dead husband. In the way, she met a ghost. The ghost falled in love with Mary. The ghost said:

- Hello, what’s your name?
- My name is Mary, and you?
- It’s Harry. Can I help you?
- No, because you’re a ghost, and I don’t like the ghosts.

At the exit of cemetery, Harry the ghost, asked Mary to go to the cinema, but Mary didn’t like to go. Mary went to her house.
Two months later Mary went to the cemetery. She met the ghost, Harry, and he said:

- What are you doing here?
- I’m looking for the tomb of my late husband.
- And, what’s his name?
- It’s Harry Jones.
- But it’s my name!
- Are you my late husband?
- Yes, I am.

Harry Jones went to Mary’s house and lived with Mary.
One day, the people of the village suspect in Mary’s house there was a ghost. Mary was scared and she stayed all the days in. The suspicious of the people were correct and Mary and Harry left the house, and they went to live to the cemetery.

Our last holidays.

Hi Guille!

How do you do? I hope everything’s okay. Here in Lleida everything is going on well but I think a lot about our last holidays.

I’m organizing a lot of activities for this summer; I think that the best day to come is the 7^th of July because I finish the school on the 5^th. Then when you arrive we can go to Port Aventura, and then we can stay some days in Salou, and then we can return to Lleida. It will be great.

Another important thing is that you have to tell your problem to your parents or familiars because they are the most suitable persons to advise you. Another thing you have to do is to comment the problem with your friends, because they could be living similar experiences and they can give you some solution, but it doesn’t have to be the best solution.

BASKETBALL

Hi we're Anna and Genís and we're going to talk about basketball.We play basketball at school three times a week, and some weekends we play basketball matches at school or other sites, but there are some weekends that we don't play it. In "Setmana Santa" we will go to another site to play a basketball tournament.

Sometimes when we play in far sites we go by bus or car.

In Spain, there is the league ACB; it is the most important league in Europe. In this league, there is the best team Regal Barça. Every year, they compete for the Euroleague; it is a tournament of all the teams of Europe that have been classificated.

In America, there is the most important league of the world, the NBA. In this league, there are a lot of teams, one of them is L.A. Lakers; it is a famous team, and this won the last league and others.

Football

In the World of sports, football is one of the most popular games.

You can practise this sport around the world, for example in Spain, Argentina, Brasil, United States, England … In Spain there are different events:

1.     League BBVA: these league is made up with Spanish Clubs, in this group the most represented clubs are F.C.Barcelona and Real Madrid

2.     Cup: in this event participate teams of the first division and the teams of second division. Last year, the team that won the championship was Sevilla C.F.

3.     Champions League: this competition is the most important event in Europe, because it gathers the best teams in old Europe.

But, from our point of view, the champions league is the event that gives more prestige to the teams.

Travel to the United States of America and London

We want to go to the United States of America. We want to visit some cities like: New York, California, San Francisco, Texas, Hollywood,… We are going to visit the Liberty statue. It’s a statue that French people gave to the American people to celebrate the day of liberty. In Paris there is a little representation of the Liberty statue.

We are going to visit the bridge of San Francisco. We are going to visit Alcatraz. In Hollywood we are going to the cinema studies. We will go to the lakes in the north of United States. We want to go by kayak and see the Niagara falls. We want to do rafting in Arizona’s Canyon.

When we will return home we will stay two days in London to see the London Eye, the Big Ben and the Buckingham Palace.

                                                                                        Lleida,17^th of November,2010

Dear mayor:

I’m writing this letter to complain about the bad condition of the streets; because the other day, while I was walking I slipped and I fell on the floor. Why? Because, that street was very rough, it was night and there weren’t any people in the street. So I had to phone the ambulance. And it took them half and hour to arrive. I couldn’t move, so all this time I was in the floor, in the middle of the street, with my back very painful. When I arrived in the hospital the doctor told me that I couldn’t go to work for two weeks, because I needed to rest at home.

The next day my sister phoned me, and she told me that the last night, she was walking along the same street and suddenly someone stole her wallet. So I want to complain too about the little watch that there are the streets, when we need it more, at night. I hope that from now on, this is going to get better.

The orphanage of Enric.

Once upon a time there was a child named Enric. He was so poor, so he didn’t had a house. He was orphan. One day while he was walking through the streets one car pushed him. It was the president of England. Enric was so surprised and the president said : ‘’Enric, if you don’t say anything about this I will bring you jewels and money’’, so Enric accepted and the president brought him a lot of money and beautiful jewels. Enric became rich , and he started to bought a lot of things. One day, while he was going with his new car he hit one young girl. When he came out the car he saw that it was Aida his friend when he was poor. Then he started to think about this time when he was poor. Then he decided to use his money for help the people and make a place for they. He made an orphanage for all the children that ,like him, don’t had a house could live better.

A phantom, an inheritance and a piano

Once upon a time, there was the Bosch family. It was formed by the father, Enric, and the two sons, Aida and Anna. They want to buy a house, and searching in the internet they found a very cheap house in the centre of the city, with two floors and a huge garden. They bought the house and went to live there.

They were so rich, and they buy the house. After they had been living there for three years there, the phantom of the house, Martí, kills Enric.

His daughter, Aida, wants to take the inheritance because his mother was dead, so he go to the judge, and he says: “a half part for you and a half part for your sister”.Then, Anna speaks with the phantom and give the haunted house to the phantom in exchange for kill his sister and gave them all the inheritance. The phantom kills Aida, but Anna don´t give the house to the phantom, and the phantom kills Anna. Then, a piano falls on the head of the phantom and the phantom dies. The end.

P.D: The cousin of the uncle of the sister of the grandmother of the father takes the inheritance.

Summer holidays

This summer I went to the beach and to the mountain. In the beach I met a lot of people and I practised surfing. That was very interesting because surf is very exciting. I was playing all the time with my cousins. The last day I went to "Port Aventura" it's a very famous thematic park in Europe. After a few days I went to the mountain, Andorra. In this country there are many different sites: Caldea, Andorra La Vella, The Tobotronc... Andorra is very small but very funny. Last year holidays were the best in my life. I come back to my house and I started to do homework: English, Maths, Science... and in the evening I went to the swimming-pool with my friends. At 7 of September I started school and I saw all my best friends and we spend a fantastic days.

One day, a group of children had to do a writing for homework. After school, a group of friends decided to do the writing together. When they met in the weekend they chose the topic of the writing, the topic was the terror house. For help them the father of a student told. Them that there was a house, where an ugly girl died. They decided to go after school. When they arrived in that house the door was closed and the children were afraid. They saw and listened to a girl going down the stairs. The girl was wearing a white dress and she had black hair. They ran very fast, they broke the window and escaped. Next day, the group of children, wrote the story and they gave it to the teacher. The teacher read the story and she put a good mark.

I' m an expert of halloween

I’m an expert on making boo to children, because I have 4 brothers.

I like the Halloween’s day because I’m really scared of ghost, witches and skeletons.

It is a very nice day because we are all the family together and we explain scary stories and my brothers cries all the time and for me that’s fun.

There are a lot of children in the streets, because it  is the night of trick or treat and if you don’t give sweets to the children they draw terrorific pictures on the walls of your house.

This celebration is originally from United States of America, but now this party is celebrated around the world.

This party is for people of all ages but you can see in the street a lot of children dressed up with original and scary costumes.

This party is on  31st of October and 1^st  of November is All Saints day.

The music

                     THE MUSIC                        

Hi we are Lluís Surroca and Marc Oliva and we are an experts in music.

Music is art, because you make beauty with the notes.

There are many types of music and all the people like one theme minimum. Some of these types are: Rock music, Classic music, House music, Heavy music…

Classic music is played with a variety of instruments. We play one or two theme in the conservatory of Lleida: the Violin and the cello.

Classic music is a little boring because you must play instruments with very hard scores and you must be attentive and study every day when it’s possible. People make groups of instruments called orchestra, groups of pianos, guitars or percussion. Students of the conservatory can do a second instrument. The rules of music are very hard: Harmony, musical language and the interpretation with a score. When we play a score, we hand it with music stand. Music is our favorite hobby. We play the instruments in the symphony orchestra and we enjoy it with our friends. In Lleida are most important academies in Catalonia, and the conservatory is the most important academy in Lleida.

Basketball

THE BASKETBALL

Hello, we are Alex Escales and Ferran Oró, and our school is Maristes Montserrat Lleida.

I’m an expert on basketball.

Because I play basketball since I was six years to now.

My position in the team is “alero”. “Alero” is the thrower of the team. I play in Maristes Montserrat Lleida.

I play three times a week: Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The trainings are from seven to quarter past eight. The match last one hour, a quart of the match last for ten minutes, but in our category the time stops when the ball goes out, the faults, time out and change a player.

  

I'm an expert (soccer)

Hi, we are Raquel Barrachina and Ivan Pérez.
I’m an expert on soccer.

I need 11 players (minimum), one ball and one referee.

I like playing soccer because my father plays soccer and it’s a popular sport.

We need a football field. You can play from 6 years old. The match is divided into two parts each part lasts forty- five (total of 90 minutes).

There are a lot of popular players in all the world.

 In the world competition there are a lot of leagues.

MUNDIAL SOUTH AFRICA 2010

Hello, we are Jesús Fernandez and Ingrid Torra, and our school is Maristes Montserrat Lleida. We talk about an exit of this summer, the mundial of football who has played in South Africa. In their final round there were rank 32 national teams of around the world. In the tournament, there are five different rounds, the first round, the quarterfinals, the second quarterfinals, the semi-finals and the final. In this year, 2010 the final was played in Johannesburg, South Africa, in a beautiful match what has played Spain against Holland. There was a match very interesting, because in the minute 113 Andrés Iniesta, the player of the F.C.Barcelona, scored a beautiful goal, and gives the tournament for the Spanish National Team.

I'm an expert

We're Luis Bravo and Ricard Quevedo. We're experts of PS3, of the game "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2", because is the best game of the year. We're experts because the other players of the world are inferior to us, Luis and Ricard. We're winning online of this game, 5.895 points and the level 60 of Prestige 3 (Luis), and 4.996 points and the level 65 of Prestige 2 (Ricard). We're playing PS3 in our houses. We're playing this game 2 hours every day after homework and study (the school first). We're playing "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 because we love this game, but the next weekend, they launch the new "Call of Duty", the Black Ops, is based on the Vietnam war and Freeze War.
